    I’ve been eating quinoa for about six months now and have only had the super cheap stuff from walmart. My husband brought some of this home for me and I absolutely love it. It tastes so much better and love it as a substitute for rice.

    It tastes but I’m concerned that it doesn’t have the whole grain stamp on it. Does this mean that it’s not a whole grain?

      Thanks for the question. While Quinoa is commonly used to replace other grains such as rice and wheat in peoples diets, Quinoa is not actually a grain which is why we can’t label it as a “whole grain.” We wrote a blog post about it here: http://www.betterbodyfoods.com/the-quinoa-craze-2/
