Buttermilk Whole Grain Pancake and Waffle Mix

Ingredients

Add All Ingredients to Cart
1 Cup low-fat milk
1 Cup low-fat buttermilk
1/4 Cup BBF Naturally Refined Organic Coconut Oil
2 eggs
2 Cups whole wheat pastry flour
2 Tbsp BBF Agave
3 Tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk wet ingredients. Add dry ingredients and blend until just slightly lumpy. Heat griddle on medium-high (400°F). Grease griddle.

Pour batter onto griddle (about 1/4 cup at a time) when hot and cook until bubbles form and edges dry. Turn and cook the other side.

For waffles, cook in a waffle iron according to directions. Serve when golden.
