PBfit® Peanut Butter Sourdough Cookies

Everyone's had a traditional peanut butter cookie, it's time to up your game. Enter the PBfit® peanut butter sourdough cookie. Get all the classic taste of a traditional peanut butter cookie but totally transformed with some sourdough. Think it sounds weird? Don't knock it til you try it!


Add All Ingredients to Cart
1 Cup sourdough starter
1 Cup PBfit®
1/2 Cup water
1 Cup BBF organic naturally refined coconut oil
1 Cup BBF organic coconut sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp BBF organic bourbon madagascar vanilla
2 Cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt


Preheat oven to 350° F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, mix together the starter, PBfit® Peanut Butter Powder, water, organic naturally refined coconut oil, organic coconut sugar, eggs, and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the dry ingredients to the starter mixture and mix until combined. Roll the dough into balls the size of a golf ball and place on the cookie sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Move to a wire rack and allow to cool.

    Question: if I use agave instead of sugar on a cookie recipe do iadd less than amount called for?pam

      Agave is about 40% sweeter than regular white sugar. How much agave you use is up to your personal preference of sweetness. Here is a guide that you can try: For each cup of white sugar replaced, use 2/3 of a cup of agave and reduce other liquids by 1/4 to 1/3 cup.
